Laura Kromann, MD, brings passion, experience and a love for her community to her practice. As a skilled family physician, she offers a wide range of expertise in caring for you and your family. Her special areas of interest include helping her patients manage chronic disease, providing urgent care, pediatric and adolescent health, women’s health care, sports medicine and a variety of clinical procedures. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Kromann graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology from Georgetown’s Southwestern University. After earning her medical degree from Texas A&M College of Medicine, she completed the Santa Rosa Family Residency Program - Sutter Hospital in Santa Rosa, California. In 2018, she returned to Williamson County and joined Brushy Creek Family Physicians.
During her medical training, she received many honors, including the Outstanding Student in Family Medicine Clerkship, Gold Humanism Honor Society and was awarded a scholarship from the Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Kromann has a heart for helping others. She has participated in numerous medical mission and relief trips where she provided care in Peru, Haiti and Mexico. Recently, she supported Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Houston as a physician volunteer through Jordan International Aid. She is also trained to provide medical and psychological evaluation of survivors of torture who are seeking asylum.
As a former collegiate athlete, Dr. Kromann still enjoys playing on recreational soccer teams, running, and most outdoor activities.
